The scenario was set up purely to try a new way of photographing my troops. This involves taking the image using flash which was 1-2 stops under exposed as opposed to the fixed lighting arrangement normally used.
The image seems to give much richer colours, but did suffer from a shadow at the bottom of the picture which had to be cropped out. This is not a major issue but does seem to need more thought when capturing the scene.
