Scotland Forever!

Planning for the next Waterloo battle day has begun.

My initial idea was to complete a Prussian army, (the figures were ordered just before Adler Miniatures closed their 6mm production. But now having all the figures necessary I realise how much work is needed to do this by June, (it's now January). Also I realise that I've had the figures for a few months and done nothing about it! Mainly because I wanted to complete the Spanish troops for battles in the Peninsular.

But they still have not been completed - only a guerrilla battalion remains, and the first battle planned is to be that of Ucles, fought in January 1809 between the forces of Spain, (under Venegas), and France, (under Victor). The Map and forces have been completed and I just need to find the time to play the game - hopefully not too long.

But in the mean time, Waterloo still needs to be planned, (given my current painting schedule), so at the moment it's most likely to be the British cavalry charges and several 'Scottish' regiments. With that in mind and a rainy day outside I thought a fun photoshoot of aforesaid units would be fun.

These units were painted several years ago and I had not realised my painting style and quality  had changed so much over the years.
