Having just finished working on a scenario for the Peninsular war, it became obvious I was a little short of French artillery. So with that in mind, all plans for the Prussians were put on hold.
The Grand Battery.
Finally, on the theme of artillery, my British guns and teams had been painted many years ago and looked quite different, so this was the right time to bring them to a coherent finish. Thus we have two line teams and two horse artillery teams. Two batteries had also been painted as part of the 1st guards division, (not shown).
So currently, once the painting was complete, that gives me four line batteries and three guard batteries. which should suffice for the scenario. However, the French are still missing some horse artillery, but not desperately so, (I think there are three, maybe four batteries unpainted currently).
In continuing the artillery painting, this Württemberg battery was also completed, since they look very similar to Bavarian uniforms and my Bavarian force was complete, this seemed like too good an opportunity to pass. Plus it helps make up part of the minor nations divisions planned.
