Painting Guide #2; Bavaria

 These Bavarians were first painted several years ago and the blue uniform colours chosen at that time I now consider to be wrong. Thus I have overpainted the coats and retouched the white to give a more fresh appearance.

All paints, unless otherwise stated are from the Vallejo Model Colour range and have the code prefix: 70.XXX, as the reference.

Generic colours are; 

Undercoat - 924,    Black highlight - 994,    Flesh - 955,    White - 820,    Brass - 801,    Gold - 996,

Metallic - 864

Line Infantry

     Coat colour - 841,     Facings - 857,    Trousers - 820;    Pack - 929,    Blanket Roll - 992

     Musket - 983.    

Alternate facing colours for each Regiment; Pink - 944, Yellow - 953.

Light Infantry.

    Coat colour - 850,  (Highlight - 857),     Facings - 817,    Trousers - 994,  (Highlight - 990);    

    

    Pack - 818, (873),    Blanket Roll - 992,    Musket - 940.

Cavalry.

    Coat colour - 850,  (Highlight - 857),     Facings - 857,    Trousers - 944,  (Highlight - 983);    

    Gloves - 914, (Highlight - 847);    Carbine - 983.   Plume - 992,  (Highlight - 820).

    Horse and furniture.

     Horse - 873,  (Highlight - 873 + 820);    Saddlecloth - 926, (Highlight - 817);    

    Trim - 943.
