Painting Guide #4; Russia.

 Russian army based on the 1812 campaign. Once again, generally, these were painted a while back, some of which have been re-touched to make the colours brighter.

However the ones illustrated were done more recently with the original colours retrieved from my "recipe" book. Although the grenadiers and Pavlov infantry are illustrated, the same colour scheme has been used on other  line units.

All paints, unless otherwise stated are from the Vallejo Model Colour range and have the code prefix: 70.XXX, as the reference.

Generic colours are; 

Undercoat - 924,    Black highlight - 994,    Flesh - 955,    White - 820,    Brass - 801,    Gold - 996,

Metallic - 864

Grenadiers.

    Coat colour - 968,    Coat highlight - 833,    Facings - 817,    Trousers - 820,     

    Pack - 950,    Blanket Roll - 873,    Musket - 983,     

    Water bottle - 864.


Pavlov Grenadiers.

    Coat colour - 968,    Coat highlight - 833,    Facings - 817,    Trousers - 820,     

    Pack - 950,    Blanket Roll - 873,    Musket - 983,     Mitre Bag - 957,

    Water bottle - 864.
